Stop Charging Children as Adults, Sent all Accused Children to Juvenile Courts

This a petition to stop putting our children on trial in adult courtrooms. The only time that a child is considered an adult is when their lives are put on the line. They are then thrown into adult jails that means that they are placed into immediate isolation. They are basically denied an education while in these jails, they are denied human contact from their families, they are treated worst than an animal in a shelter and they are completely defenseless. This can go on for as much as a year before they are given their right to a trial. So for this treatment, as an accused child , what happens should they be found innocent and they have fallen a year behind their peers, their nerves are very brittle due to no hugs or kisses from their families to comfort them. Plus they do not receive any therapy and rehabilitation. Should they be found guilty of their crime and sent to an adult facility they will not receive any rehabilitation or therapy to help them through their problems, they are just a number and this can happen to children as young as 10 years old.

The United States and Somolia are the only two countries in the world who refuse to sign the 'Childrens Rights Law" and the other countries have questioned the way that we treat our own children. Canada is very vocal about our throwing children away and they have voiced their opinions more than once.

The facts are that no child is an adult therefore they should be treated as a loving caring human being who is still growing and learning. If we can give up on saving our kids, then why are we saving the kids from other countries? All kids are the same only their cultures are different. Help by signing this petition to send any and all children to Juvenile Courts and let's attempt to rehabilitate every child who has made a mistake. Let's stop the "THROW-AWAY CHILD"
