EXPLANATION~
Leon Hendrix, brother of James Marshall Hendrix "Jimi" is in a law suit to gain shareholding rights to the H E N D R I X legacy. Currently, under the control of Janie his Step-Sister who became family when Leon was in his teens. Janie along with Al Hendrix (Jimmy and Leon's father, later Janie's step-father) returned the music and likeness of Jimi back to its rightful homebase. In the Hendrix family. Unfortunatley, Jimi's brother Leon was not in a favorable position "politcally" in the family to be welcomed to such a process.

The problem has been long standing and un-addressed that Leon has been living in the public and family shadow of his brother for many years. O make no cry baby case for Leon here. If you could imagine coming from a very broken home and your brother "makes it" SUPERNATURALLY speaking and you sit on the backside of public awareness you might not see the point in "amounting" to much in the public eye. Leon lived in much of the same way Jimi did until he acquired his status. Leon mind you lived in way that was not good for self-confidence, not for the future and not for any hopes he would have heartfelt measure to his departed brother in his fathers eyes. Drug usage, and minor theft along with unsavory track records of poor decision making plagued Leon as well as Jimi. Different times in their lives yet not removed from the fact both men dealt with insecurtiy issues of one kind or another. Jimi from his mothers passing along with other reasons and Leon from the same along with trying to mature in the stunting shadow of his departed brother.

This problem has BEEN paramount. Many issues under the "unchosen one" son position set Leon to abandon any building blocks for future mentality. Leon has been in the sad position of even proving his birth relation to his father over the years. Oddly not an issue while Jimi was alive.

Janie has had many a grudge that Leon was not reflecting well on the HENDRIX name. She had a lot to lose growing up and present day, if the family she is a part of was looked on negatively. Understandably so, hence Leons fall from family grace one act of stupidity at a time. The family NEVER let that man live it down. To the tune of WRITING HIM OUT OF THE INHERITANCE OF HIS BROTHERS FORTUNE. The irony is the public KNOWS Jimi was NO SAINT and Leon like any younger brother would possibly try his "big brothers shoes" on.

Janie Hendrix/Wright does not seem to mind that Jimi did alot of the same stupid things Leon has done in one fashion or another from drug usage to petty theft. That is when she is living in a 5 Million Dollar home paid for by Jimi. She can get around Jimis shortcomings with that guitar in place and that shiny ride in the driveway.

No guitar on Leon tho~... For a family that loved their dead son Jimi, they loved him so much more as to compete with the WORLDS fondness that they wrote LEON OFF and ceased to LOVE THE LIVING. I cant comprehend emotionally killing off the last remaining HENDRIX blood! insane! Let alone denying Leons children from running the estate to some degree. Janie has a grip on the Experience Hendrix company which her father and her regained. I KNOW Leon wasnt invited to that party. I also have met Leon and spoke with him several times. I spoke with Janie once. On their own they are likable people Im sure. In this situation its clear cut case of dirty step sibling politics over who possess JIMI HENDRIX's music. There is ALOT more to this than I can fit here. I wish for you to sign a petition that will be submitted DIRECTLY to Leon Hendrix's lawyers. This is a PETITION OF GOODWILL for the equal share of the HENDRIX LEGACY to LEON HENDRIX and his surviving descendants.
