Let's Save The Nine;

Hello to All Fans of The Nine - This is a petition to save our show. It's clear from the numerous blog sites, containing message after message, from disappointed viewer to disappointed viewer, that I am not the only devastated Nine fan. And why shouldn't we be devastated over the unfair and ridiculous hiatus status that ABC has now thrown our way (and during a holiday week yet...)? The Nine is everything that a great drama should be. Its that rare find that those of us so-called more mature viewers can appreciate - and especially at a time when so many of our programming choices these days seem geared towards a much less intelligent, less sophisticated and attention-deficit ridden audience. Do I really have to spell out the names of those shows? Ha! All of us already know what a great drama The Nine is and now its time to send a message to ABC and let them know how we feel. Giving up is not an option if you really love this show.

So let's tell ABC why we love this show so much. The Nine is original, unique, intense, creative and captivating. Oh, and did I forget to mention it's bold and timely concept, the exceptional acting talent, and of course the ongoing mystery factor which allows viewers to actually use their brains and try to figure out what happened "in there" before all is revealed. What many of you may not realize, however, is the potential power that a petition such as this one can have on influencing a network and their programming decisions. Again, all of us need to let ABC know how much we love The Nine and how tired we are of seeing rare shows such as this one put on indefinite hiatus status or even cancelled before it's time. Many of you like myself were probably also disappointed and disillusioned fans of another prematurely cancelled ABC show called Eyes. To many of us this current hiatus decision certainly feels like deja vu then.

If you want to save The Nine then please sign this petition (and have your friends do the same). Let's see how many signatures we an accumulate before the New Year begins. Please don't forget to write a few detailed and network friendly comments (i.e. we're not here to insult the network, but rather to save our show). My Heartfelt Thanks go out to each and everyone of you in advance and my Best Regards to everyone at The Nine's production company (especially to the acting talent). Let's save The Nine! It's a great show...it's our show...and it's worth it.
