To Julien's Auction House regarding the Michael Jackson Auction:

We, the fans, understand and realize that you are a respected and well operating company. This petition is in no way an accusation, we are aware of the fact that there is a signed contract. We understand that many of your employees have put a large amount of time into this auction, we also realise that this was and still is a very expensive project.

However, please take the time to read this and consider our request.

We do not have enough knowledge to make a judgement, but we do know that Julien's auction house is even auctioning presents from us, the fans and even gifts from Michael's children. This can't be what Michael would have wanted.

We are trying to ask you to settle this. Isn't there any solution that works for both parties?

We agree, it are "only" possessions. The fans won't die if the possessions will be sold. But these gifts have a high sentimental value, for Michael, but especially for the fans who gave it in the first place.

Those gifts mean the world for some of the fans. Seeing their gifts in your auction catalogue, is breaking their heart. And we are not all millionaires.
Some fans saved their money for months, just to be able to buy that particular gift for Michael.

I am aware of the fact that sentimental words do not have a value in the business world, because that won't bring in the money.

But how many possessions are there to auction?
Would it really kill your business if you would turn back some of the items?

We can only ask you to try and imagine how those fans feel right now, how Michael feels right now...

This request is send from the bottom of our heart.

Please, do not auction the gifts from the fans and from Michael's children.
I do not know if you have children, but if you do, how would you feel if someone else would auction off your children's gifts for money?

Please, only for this once, don't let money have a bigger value then sentimentality.

To all MJ fans:

If you agree with the above text, then please join this request and leave your signature. Many of our fellow fans are heartbroken. Think about them! How would you feel if your gift to Michael would be in that catalogue? Think about Michael! Michael will even lose gifts from his children...

It would be a shame if that would happen. Michael did NOT sign the contract in person. Who knows... Maybe, this is all happening because of a miss-communication.

Because we do not know what has been said between Michael and Julien's auction house, we are asking you not to leave "dirty" comments. Please do NOT blame any of the parties or we will need to delete your signature, which would be a shame as we will need the help of all fans! The only thing we can do, is ask it to Julien's auction house and pray that they will consider our request!
