Halt the production of a "Karate Kid Remake"

Dear Presidents of Columbia Pictures,

We the undersigned, demand you halt all production of your remake of "The Karate Kid".

It's bad enough we have been subjected to such "high quality" remakes such as, "Poseidon", "Godzilla", and "The Dukes of Hazard". We the undersigned, will not allow such an epic franchise to be dragged through the mud and raped like some drunken bar slut.

This remake madness must end. Too many classic movies have been tarnished by Hollywood's rejection of originality and quality, in favor of crap and money.

Please make the right choice and halt the potential rape of such a fantastic franchise (not counting "The Karate Kid part 3" and "The Next Karate Kid" of course).
