Ending discrimination against the people of Kurdistan

We, the undersigned, are deeply concerned about the way the UK media is referring to a region which is fully recognized by a formal constitution. UK media refers to Kurdistan as north of Iraq, however it never hesitate to refer to Scotland by its name, instead of north of UK. Kurdistan is a recognized territory by the Iraqi constitution and it has been called by its name for hundreds of years. We therefore ask for an end of this discrimination against the wishes of thousand of Kurdish community members in the UK.
