Ladies and Gentlemen:

LAAAE, a non-profit charter school, is requesting—and deserves to be granted—a 5-year renewal of its charter. I urge you to support this request in every way you can.

LAAAE deserves to exist. It has made a difference in the Community, the students are doing better than they ever had before, and parents are relieved to have finally found a school that is working effectively for their children’s academic and personal success. Schools like this should be given your full support and every opportunity to succeed. Yet factual errors in your non-renewal rationale, and breakdown of due process make it clear that LAUSD is unjustly targeting this charter school.

It is in your power to rectify this situation by doing the right thing on April 14th. I urge you to cast your vote to grant LAAAE a full 5-year renewal of its charter.
