LAX - CASABLANCA, direct flight

The purpose of this petition is to try to persuade Royal Air Maroc group to consider starting a new weekly flight originating from Los Angeles, California (LAX) to Casablanca, Morocco.

The Moroccan American Association of Southern California feels that there are enough travelers in Los Angeles to make it a viable business proposition for Royal Air Maroc and one that is equally as viable to Royal Air Maroc’s patrons. The Moroccan American Association of California is planning, through this Petition and other data collection methods, to make a case to the decision makers at Royal Air Maroc that the Moroccan community and those interested in visiting Morocco have grown many folds in the last few years and their travel patterns are at a level that can clearly sustain and support at least one weekly flight from Los Angeles to Casablanca.

Besides, several other travelers from the Middle East and other regions have shown interest in using Morocco as a transit point instead of European cities. Many would like the opportunity to visit Morocco and also support its tourism, even on a minimal scale by transiting via Casablanca or taking longer trips throughout their travels.

We hope this petition will show you the extent to which this is important to both the Moroccan community and all other potential Morocco visitors.
