We ask the LSE administration to stop ID checks around campus immediately. Universities are spaces of free speech. ID checks are intimidating and are distressing the school's members, disrupting what is supposed to be an open environment in which we all teach and learn.

We also support the students in the Old Theatre, recognising their right to peaceful protest and asking the administration to listen carefully to and meet all their demands.
