Currently, Illinois is not funding the Monetary Award Program grants this spring. The MAP grant is a form of gift aid that assists over 150,000 students across Illinois in receiving a college education.

We, the undersigned, are collecting input from students regarding the MAP cuts and will send the following petition to the Illinois General Assembly.

We, the undersigned, are concerned students who urge our leaders in Springfield to act now to fully fund the MAP grant in Spring 2010.
