I support the citizen-led renovation plan to Restore the Pride in the Fred Maytag Bowl. The plan preserves the architectural integrity of the historic bowl while adding amenities to increase its enjoyment and use. The added amenities include upgrading the sound, electrical and lighting systems, adding modern restrooms, handicap accessibility, a concession facility and entrance.

As a resident, I request the Newton City Council support this renovation plan and work with the citizen group to bring this project to successful completion.
