We the undersigned would like the USDA to halt its legal actions against the cats residing at the Hemingway House. It is our belief that these cats are of great historical significance on an International level. It is also our belief that the action taken does not serve to promote or protect the cats involved. Indeed it will only serve to endanger them, the very opposite ethos to which animal welfare laws are intended.
