Honor the 1046 Sons of Maryland lost in the Vietnam War

To:  Maryland's Governor & State Legislators

Vietnam Veterans of America, Baltimore Chapter 451 is near completion of the "Operation Remember" project. This 5 year effort to recover the photos of all 1046 Sons of Maryland lost in the Vietnam War will ensure that for generations to come these Marylanders who made the ultimate sacrifice will be remembered by face as well as by name.

We support a proposal by Chapter 451 to have a permanent display placed on the grounds of the Maryland Vietnam Veterans Memorial. An artist conception of this display is available at http://www.vva451.org.

We support this proposal to honor the 1046 Sons of Maryland and encourage your support and endorsement.
