Reinstate passenger rail service across southern Montana

Thanks to everyone who signed this petition for their support of passenger rail. The signatures are being sent to Senator Tester as evidence of support and ridership for a route through southern Montana. The petition is being closed to new signatures, but we're opening up the forum at BringBackAmtrak.com to discuss advocacy and alternatives.

We support the restoration of Amtrak's North Coast Hiawatha passenger route across southern Montana. Passenger and freight trains can help strengthen the economy and improve national security. Rail service consumes significantly less energy per passenger mile than cars, air service, or trucks. Passenger service provides increasingly important travel choices for everyone, especially those on limited budgets and with decreased mobility, such as the elderly, students, and families.
