Save Agricultural Education at Muresk |
To: Jane den Hollander; Deputy Vice-Chancellor AcademicThe future of the Curtin University Muresk campus is at high risk. It will NO LONGER provide tertiary education in agriculture.
Muresk has provided agricultural education to students for over 80 years, developing and educating the future leaders of Australian agriculture. Without Muresk these students will be forced to have a tertiary education in the city, this will result in an even bigger reduction of graduates than the industry is currently faced with.
The future of agriculture in Australia is bright but without tomorrow’s leaders we are faced with a threat that will ultimately cause long term affects on regional Australia and in turn our big cities.
If you wish to be included in the future of Muresk, please register your details. In registering your details you can select if you wish to be contacted or not, however, we do need to be able to contact you to continue to keep you updated.
It is vital that today’s agricultural leaders stand up to this challenge so that tomorrow’s leaders can be educated.
