Recall of Senators Russ Feingold and Herb Kohl in the Event that They Vote to Use Public Funds to Expand Government Health Care in Any Manner

To:  U.S. Senators Russ Feingold and Herb Kohl

We the undersigned residents of the State of Wisconsin hereby express our opposition to the passage of any legislation that would allow for the use of public funds to expand the already-existing, government-run health care system.

We stand opposed to any bill that would allow for the implementation of what has popularly been termed the "public option."

We also stand opposed to any bill that allows for the establishment of publicly subsidized co-ops.

We instead support free-market solutions to health care reform that would lower costs and improve health care coverage without any use whatsoever of public funds.

In signing this petition, we hereby provide notice to Wisconsin's two U.S. Senators, Russ Feingold and Herb Kohl.

Should either Senator Feingold or Senator Kohl vote in favor of any legislation that would require public funds to expand the federal government's investment and reach in the health care arena, we will seek their immediate removal by signing a recall petition for which the official paperwork will be properly filed.
