As a fan of the NHL, I would like the NHL to disclose the precise nature of injuries. Three years ago, the NHL adopted a policy whereby teams no longer had to disclose the precise nature of injuries and could simply describe an injury as an upper or lower body injury. As a fan of the game, I would like more information about injuries. This information is valuable to me as a fan of the game as it helps me understand how long players are likely to be sidelined with an injury. I want full disclosure of NHL injuries.
