New Loft Law Now!

To:  New York Governor David Paterson

A full quarter-century has passed since live/work loft tenants were last protected by a Loft Law in New York. Evictions are occurring at a rapid pace, often involving residential tenants who have put thousands of dollars into renovating raw warehouse or factory spaces.



Courts are no longer extending protections to tenants, but backing rapacious and greedy landlords who are driving artists and creative workers from New York City.



New York needs a New Loft Law Now!
