Bring Soccer to New York City

To:  Fred Wilpon, Chairman of the Board & Chief Executive Officer of the New York Mets and other interested parties

We, the Undersigned, support Fred Wilpon and any other interested parties in their inquiries into purchasing a Major League Soccer franchise that would be located within the five boroughs. As a global city and sports capital, New York is ready to show the world our brand of the Beautiful Game. We hope to one day see a soccer stadium full of waving flags from boisterous New Yorkers rooting for the home team.

We believe that New York City has the fan base to merit a professional soccer team. Many supporters are already organizing to assist Mr. Wilpon and any other potential owner in overcoming obstacles that stands in the way of introducing a football club to the Big Apple. We are looking forward to Opening Day.
