Nexus Membership Program

To:  US Homeland Security, WA State Governmental Agencies

The Point Roberts Registered Voters Association sponsors this petition requesting the following modifications to the U.S./Canada Nexus program:

We, the undersigned request:

1. That uniform rules be established including a statute of limitations for ineligibility infractions.

2. That a timely and accessible appeals procedure be established regarding denial and/or revocation of privileges.

3. That personal goods transported between mainland U.S. and Point Roberts be classified as in-transit, not exported to, or imported from Canada, as provided in Canadian regulations RC 4161.
