Si chiede che venga esposta come per le sigarette la scritta “NUOCE ALLA SALUTE” sulle carni e sui prodotti che le contengono in quanto molti studi sotto riportati si notano l'incidenza che possono avere questi prodotti sulla salute.

“Promuovere le diete sane e l’attività fisica: una dimensione europea nella prevenzione
di sovrappeso, obesità e malattie croniche”
a pag.16
Cause di morte nell'anno 2000 attribuibili ai principali fattori di rischio:
1) 2500000 ipertensione
2) 1700000 colesterolo
3) 1600000 tabacco
4) 1200000 Obesità
5) 800000 poca frutta e verdura
6) 500000 alcolismo
7...) inquinamento aria, droga, ecc. (numeri davvero poco significativi che non riporto...)
La dieta vegetariana minimizza 4 dei 5 principali fattori di rischio di morte:
Chi evita la carne e fa una scelta vegetariana NON ha problemi di ipertensione, NON ha problemi di colesterolo, NON ha probelemi di obesità, non ha ridotti consumi di frutta, verdura e fibre...
Già è sufficiente questo grafico per capire che la carne è la principale causa di morte in Europa, causando circa una decina di milioni di morti in Europa all'anno (4 o 5 volte i morti causati dal tabacco e centinaia o migliaia di volte dei morti causati dalle droghe)
