No Super Wal-Mart/ Wal-Mart in the City of American Canyon

To: The City Council, City Manager and Planning Commission of the City of American Canyon, Napa County, California

We, the residents of American Canyon, do not want a Super Wal-Mart/ Wal-Mart in our community. We believe that it would be a detriment to the future growth of the city.

Super Wal-Mart/ Wal-Mart offers no opportunities for community growth, are known tax evaders, have unacceptable employee practices, and rely upon city/ community resources in excess of contribution.

Additionally, we believe that the city should conduct a feasibility study, a CEQA report and a traffic impact report before considering any future Super Wal-Mart /Wal-Mart’s application for a use permit.

As such, we respectfully request that the City Council of American Canyon, California reject the application for a Super Wal-Mart/ Wal-Mart to be built within the city limits.
