We the People sign this petition with the intention of demanding strong enforcement against illegal immigration in North Carolina. We believe that whenever and wherever the federal obligation and/or action to protect national borders fail, it is the right and duty of individual states to protect their citizens constitutional rights of sovereignty and equal opportunity to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

We stand by the Arizona Immigration Law SB 1070. Further, we demand a North Carolina version of the same law, including but not limited to the recently filed NC Senate Joint Resolution (SJ 1349) by NC State Senator Don East (R-Surry).
