Dear West Bend Community Library,

We're writing in support of your efforts to keep books of your choice on the shelves of your library.

As lifelong readers and students of a world shaped by its power, we're troubled--to say the least--to hear of the actions recently taken in an attempt by some citizens to have books removed (or at least moved) from where you've placed them on the shelves of your library.

For your steadfast insistence that it is the library staff's decision as to which books it makes available, as well as where and how, and for your work year-round on behalf of literature and learning, you have our undying appreciation.

If we could give libraries a hug, we would give you one now.

Thanks for standing up for the right of folks to read what they want!

Keep on being awesome, West Bend Community Library! You make nerds happy.
