Reclaiming Orthodox England

A PETITION TOWARD RECLAIMING ORTHODOX ENGLAND

WHEREAS, In light of the dismal situation in which we seem to have found ourselves we propose the following:

WHEREAS, It seems that Prince Charles of England is "on his way" to the Orthodox Church. If he makes this decision he would have to abdicate his throne as an English Monarch, and

WHEREAS, We, a small remnant of Monarchists, have decided to draft a proposal to His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales with the request that when he shall choose to abdicate his throne that we might work to build an Orthodox nation with its final goal of recreating the Holy Orthodox Empire of England, and

WHEREAS, should he choose to find a way to retain his throne and join the Church, we shall support him in his endeavour to bring the Empire back to Orthodoxy, and

WHEREAS, those that are willing to submit to the God-given authority of the rightful English monarch, join us as we take up the banner of English Orthodoxy and please join us in prayer for England and her Orthodox heritage, her saints and her salvation unto the Glory of Christ our God.

WHEREAS, taking as our patron, Harold of England, holy passion-bearer, in this endeavour we seek to return the Crown, the Kingdom, and the Empire to the Holy Orthodox Church, and

WHEREAS, we humbly seek the prayers of the Theotokos, especially through her images of Glastonbury and Walsingham, All Saints of England, Ireland and Scotland, and St Edward the Confessor, therefore be it

RESOLVED that we humbly seek to reclaim the Orthodox Heritage of the British Empire and be it

RESOLVED that the undersigned agree to support this endeavour with prayer and be it

RESOLVED that all who support this noble cause will sign this petition and seek its circulation.
