YES! I support Elk Run Energy Station

YES! I support progress in Waterloo and I SUPPORT the proposed Elk Run Energy Station in Waterloo. I believe our community can benefit from hundreds of new jobs, a $1.3 billion dollar capital investment, a greatly expanded tax base for our city, county and local schools and long term proximity to low cost electricity. I have confidence in the abilities and regulatory powers of the Environmental Protection Agency, the Iowa Department of Natural Resources and the Iowa Utilities Board to do their jobs in effectively regulating the facility and protecting the health of our community.

I SUPPORT this project and I SUPPORT a strong and vibrant future for Waterloo!
