On November 20, 2008, Bryan Fuller confirmed that "Pushing Daisies", the critically acclaimed forensic fairytale which nominated for 57 awards, and won 18 of them, including seven Emmys, was being canceled after only two abbreviated seasons. ABC, the shows parent company, had specifically instructed Fuller NOT to give the show proper closure, in case they decided to order a back nine to the series. For this reason, the ending (although wonderful) was not what Mr. Fuller had originally intended for his work. Bryan Fuller deserves, at the very least, to complete the series as he sees fit in film format. We the fans are not picky. We will accept a feature film, a TV movie, or a even direct-to-dvd movie. We will not, however, sit by and let this beautiful and imaginative series endure the same abuse in its "afterlife" that it was treated with during its time on the air. Please consider doing this, both for the dedicated fans, and for Bryan Fuller's creative integrity.
