Pensions for State and non-state employees

I like most people in Britain - with the exceptions of those who are rich and greedy are sick to death of all this bonus, loss, tax news.
I have a question and protest: I have worked hard all my life, paid into my private pension which is going to be worthless....
Government employees etc. say they pay pension contributions too. Presumably the money was invested in the banks and stocks which dropped their values. However, the employees are still going to get their final salary scheme pensions - so where does the shortfall come from ? I assume yet again from taxes, ie. you and me....
We pay more and more for services, but it would seem that instead of money going in to the services it is just feeding these greedy priviledged people to ensure they get the same pension regardless of the outside economic situation. This is crazy, and immoral. We are now going into a two-tier system of rich and poor in this country, based on the protected employees who work for the NHS government, police etc... ENOUGH IS ENOUGH - The MPS dont really give a hoot for the people of Britain as they will retire from office with pensions, speech engagements, books and other executive directorships, just like Tony Blair did.
BUT WHAT CAN WE AS PEOPLE OF BRITAIN DO - APART FROM TAKE TO THE STREETS OUTSIDE DOWNING STREET OR THE HOUSES OF PARLIAMENT... AND THEN WE WOULD JUST BE ARRESTED....
There must be someone out there who can stand up for the rights of ordinary people like myself, and the ordinary pensioners who are now crippled with this for others benefit.
