I WISH To Take my Dad, a PEARL HARBOR SURVIVOR, back to Hawaii for his 90th BIRTHDAY.



Thank you for reading this. My Dad will be 90 yrs old in October. While out to dinner the other day, I asked him what he wanted to do for his birthday this year; was there any place that he wanted to go. His answer caught me by surprise. He got a kind of glazed look on his face and said that he'd like to go back to Pearl Harbor, in Hawaii. He said that he had the chance to go back there when they had the 50th Reunion. He said that he was sorry that he had not gone. Then, he laughed like it was a joke. He knew that I did not have the means of making that birthday wish come true. I am a Christian and do believe that all things are possible through God. I am hoping to get enough donations to my pay pal account to actually make this wish come true for him, and to celebrate on a cruise ship? maybe with our whole family present. I know that this is a long shot, but I'm trying to make his wish come true. He is in excellent health (walks 2 miles 3xweek). He is also in the Boxing Hall of Fame.
