Dear Kazuo Hirai/John Koller,

We the consumer feel that for the "premium" price point that you are charging for the PSP Go, SCE should include a touchscreen. This is by no means an unreasonable request because the inclusion of a such a feature would be trivial(especially considering the healty margin of profit that you will be enjoying from the current PSP Go RRP which is 229.99/$249.99).

In addition to this, I feel compelled to state that, in this day and age for the PSP Go to be taken seriosuly as a portable media player, a touchscreen is obligatory. How else do you expect consumers to navigate the XMB/play music etc.. while the buttons are tucked away? Consumers certainly do not want to use the buttons on top of the PSP to do this, simply because navigation would be limited, cumbersome and unacceptable on a premium product.

The last and final point on this petition is in regards to the UK Price. At E3 Kazuo Hirai announced that the PSP Go would retail at the original PSP's price point. In the UK, that was 179.99, however retailers are currently listing pre-orders at 229.99. This is an unacceptable price point for a product which is cheaper for you to produce than the current PSP-3000. A 100 price hike is unacceptable and not consumer friendly at all. Not to mention it deviated from Kazuo Hirai's original statement that the PSP Go would be launched at the original PSP's launch price.
