Viva Palumbo! - "Frank Palumbo Drive"

To:  Mayor of Philadelphia, City Council of Philadelphia, Fairmont Park Commission and PA Senate Delegates of Philadelphia

Dear Mayor Street,

It is time to give Frank Palumbo the honor and recognition awarded him in 1987 by the Philadelphia City Council. The ordinance was unanimously passed by the City Council and approved by the Fairmount Park Commission to rename West River Drive to Frank Palumbo Drive. The Fairmount Park Commission has neglected to uphold the law by not erecting a street sign renaming West River Drive as Frank Palumbo Drive and has in fact dishonored the legacy of Frank Palumbo and Italian American contributions in Philadelphia.

BE IT RESOLVED, that the undersigned demand that West River Drive be renamed as Frank Palumbo Drive in accordance with the ordinance unanimously approved by the City Council of Philadelphia in 1987.
