We, the undersigned parishioners of the English section of the European Parish, are concerned about the future of the religion program at the European Schools of Luxembourg. We are most concerned by the request to change the minimum number of students in a class from five students to seven. Already the sixth-year class has been cancelled for the 2011-2012 school year. With the opening of the second European School campus in 2012, more classes will be threatened with closure since an English section will be located on both the Kirchberg and Bertrange/Mamer campuses, which will lead to a decrease in the number of students in each class.
