LET'S PUT A STOP TO 2012. We don't need another reason to equip our tin foil hats, there is nothing good that will come from this movie!
Reason 1: This movie is going to fulfill its own prophecy by scaring the shit out of all of its viewers. The good percent of people who don't know about the theory of 2012, or know very little, are going to shit their pants over what's being fed to them through the movie screen. Here's one conversation I had with a man from the future on the date this movie came out:
"Z0MG THE END OF TEH WORLD IS COMING IN 3 YEARS!! TO HELL WITH LIFE, HERE'S A BOWLFUL OF ANARCHY FOR ALL! THE MOVIE SAYS WE'RE ALL GOING TO DIE SO EVERYBODY DO WHAT YOU WANT! LIFE IS MEANINGLESS!"
.... He ran off and threw his head in a windowpane before I could even catch his name.
Reason 2: The dude (Roland Emmerich, director) is exploiting a fucking theory about doomsday. A theory that comes every couple of years once the previous doomsday date has come and gone, like a reoccurring trend of mass death. What are his motives here, cashing in on the art of fear mongering? No I don't believe we need any of that.
Reason 3: This is the same director who raped Godzilla in 1999, and he also got his chance with apocalyptic themed movies with "The Day after Tomorrow" in 2004.... Not to mention it's also starring John Cusack and Woody Harrelson. No, I don't think we need this one at all.
