Thank you for taking the time to read this petition, even if you choose not to sign. As a member of the working world, I feel it is the responsibility of ALL employers, to let their employees express themselves in any way they would like. Facial piercings date back to thousands of years ago, and have become a very popular fashion trend in today’s society.

After searching endless web pages, I have yet to discover anything stating that piercings may not be worn in a working environment. Employers may choose to state such rules, but at the same time they are taking away the right to freedom, and self-expression.
