We, the undersigned, as dedicated fans of San Francisco Giants baseball, demand that Giants management find a way to remove Pedro Feliz from the team as soon as possible. We are making this demand because, despite his wealth of natural physical tools, Feliz has repeatedly demonstrated a remarkable ineptitude when it comes to knowing how to play the game, at the plate, in the field, and on the bases. Remarkably, all three of these deficiencies were exhibited on the evening of April 6, 2007, which precipitated this petition.

However, it is not one night, nor a collection of games, that has convinced us to sign this petition. It is a career demonstrative of an inability to improve. It is long stretches of games where this player's OBP is actually LOWER than his batting average. THAT IS NOT ACCEPTIBLE. It is a reliable kind of failure that brings the team down, and brings the fan interest down as well. Many of us have to temper our enthusiasm for the Giants on a daily basis because of the horrendous play of this one player.

The Giants have an opportunity to make an incredible, forward-thinking statement by removing a relic from this team. Do it. Do it now. Remove Pedro Feliz by any means necessary.
