Protection of the RMS Titanic Wreck Site |
To: U.S. Congess, House of LordsWe, the undersigned, wish to express our distress at the continued unprotection of the wreck of the Royal Mail Steamship Titanic, based out of Liverpool, which sank at Approximately 2:20 A.M. on 15th April, 1912. We, the undersigned, are in great distress about the salvage rights to this wreck, a tomb of more than 1,500 persons, is plundered by R.M.S. Titanic Incorporated, which then puts them on display, reaping enormous profit. This pillaging of a gravesite to more than 1,500 people of numerous nationalities must halt AT ONCE, and appropriate measures shoud be taken to ensure that the site is protected from salvagers.
Sincerely,
