"The Return of the Living Dead" special edition DVD petition

We, the undersigned, are aware that you are releasing the classic 80's horror/comedy film "The Return of the Living Dead" on DVD in 2002.

However, we want to encourage you, in the strongest way possible, to make the DVD a "special edition".

It has been roughly 10+ years that the film has been out-of-print on any home video format in America, with only the occasional airing on cable television, the desire to own the movie has grown dramatically. New fans are created with every viewing.
Now, the desire to see "more" of the film has increased.

There are "extras" that can be added to the DVD which are known to exist, such as deleted footage, an alternate ending, a gag reel, theatrical trailer, etc. A new documentary, including interviews with the cast/crew would be a fantastic supplement.
An audio commentary by writer/director Dan O'Bannon would also be essential.
Finally, presenting the film in it's OAR (original aspect ratio) of 1.85:1 would be required.

"The Return of the Living Dead" is not merely a "cult film", it's a true horror classic. We, the fans (and horror fans in general) want to see this gem treated properly. After all these years out-of-print, the DVD should be loaded with as many 'special features' as possible.
