Dear RTA, We the people who signed the petition we all agree on the following:
1) Paying 4DHS every time you go under a SALIK gate is too much.
2) Paying for the same road in entrance and exit is TOO MUCH.
3) SALIK won't make the roads without traffic, it will increase traffic on other alternate roads, and for example the wasel road and jumirah road which both cant handle the big number of cars that will head towards them.
4) The timing you are making the SALIK is wrong, since most roads in Dubai is under construction, if you hade the SALIK after all the roads are finished and the metro it would be better.


SALIK is not a good idea for the time being, especially that it have a high price.
Some local newspaper stated that Dubai is the only city in the world that have such thing which is making citizens pay for using the main roads in the city , and paying when ever they pass a gate , that means not one like other cities .
And to make it clear other cities are bigger that Dubai by 10 times and they have many alternatives although they just have it between a city and city or by using a high way.
