CITIZEN PETITION

I, request that the U.S. Congress convene a citizen oversight committee to include eight citizens (2) members of Congress to fully investigate the kidnapping/murder of these hired contractors working in Iraq: John Young, Paul Reuben, Joshua Munns, Jonathan Cote, Bert Nussbaumer, and Ronald Withrow. We also seek a full inquiry into the kidnapping of Sgt. Ahmed Altaie, U.S. Army.

This committee will also devise a plan for the U.S. Government to use in dealing with foreign groups that demand ransom for persons held hostage and will formulate a method by which the government or the families of hostages can redeem such hostages and return them to their loved ones.

The findings of the investigations and recommendations will be made public to prevent the murder of more citizens because of inadequate government policies.
