PAPA - PARENTAL ALIENATION AND PARENTING AWARENESS

Non-custodial parents and children equal rights to protection against interference with visitation by the custodial parent. According to the UCCJA (federal guidelines) there exists the absolute right to parent. However, each state makes its own rules which are a direct violation of the rights of the children and the non-custodial parents. The courts, attorneys and law enforcement only protect the custodial parent leaving the children and the non-custodial parent victimized and alienated legally and without just cause.

If a person were taken and held without communications, visitations or custody of anyone they are directly related to it is called abduction and kidnapping. However, when one parent does it to another it is legal and the perpetrator can get away with it for more than 18 years without any fear of legal punishment. This leaves every family open to horrible acts of spousal abuse and child abuse a.k.a. parental alienation that millions of children each year in the United States.

Being the custodial parent is a privilege and a responsibility that you will carry out the orders of the court and act in the best interest of the child. Just because a court makes an order that specifies what each parties responsibilities are law enforcement and the courts will only prosecute non-custodial parents. This bias, discrimination is unjust and it is promoting acts of child abuse and spousal abuse.

With a 50/50 example both parents are held equally accountable for all legal, financial, etc. They are also required to share the time however if one parent does not participate then that can alter the 50/50 order. The 50/50 order gives both parent equal protection under the law and any parent who violates the rights of the child without just cause should be held accountable.

That any state that does not hold custodial parents to the same standards of justice as non-custodial parents (ie: Goergia Code - O.C.G.A. § 16-5-45 - which clearly is bias and discriminate against non-custodial parents must be modified to give equal rights to all parents and/or guardians. Georgia code clearly discriminates against the non-custodial parent and therefore the child(ren)as well.

Sincerely,

The Undersigned
