Save the Characters Petition

To:  Artist and Writers

For too long, us original characters have been pushed to the side and put on the back burner. For too long, we've been neglected and ignored. For too long, artists have forgotten and forsaken us, overlooking the fact that our very existence lies in their hands. Unlike our creators, we cannot breathe, cannot walk, and cannot talk on our own. Our existence is sustained by the work of others, by pencils poised in other's hands, by other's words that make us alive.

We understand that the creators need time to resolve things such as homework, jobs, and social pressures. By participating in all of these things, our creators become more intelligent well-rounded people, and in turn, so do we. But, we cannot watch as our lives slip through our creators' talented fingertips. We ask only for a little attention, for a bit of respect, for a smidgen of time management. Don't allow us to become just a memory.
