We would like to ask the Singapore Authorities to take action against businessmen who have been profiting heavily by inducing individuals into their cause through the use of fabricated or purchased credentials. This is felt to amount to public fraud and therefore a crime to society.

One such example has been Clemen Chiang in Singapore whereby he claimed in depth research into options trading and stated that he had produced a research paper amounting to a PhD title that justified his research. This PhD was from a degree mill known as Preston University. This has caused thousands of individuals to sign up for his courses believing that he was an authority with the experience. Nonetheless, those who have gained a bit more knowledge in the stock market have realized that his method is seen by the trading community as pure gambling.

This petition will also serve as a preliminary to gathering individuals who might have felt cheated by Clemen Chiang and to see if there is indeed a good pool of such individuals for further actions.
