WE, THE UNDERSIGNED, ARE OPPOSED TO THE BUREAU OF RECLAMATION’S INTENTION TO REMOVE ALL LONG-TERM SITES AT LAKE BERRYESSA. WE DO NOT BELIEVE THERE IS A COMPELLING PUBLIC POLICY REASON FOR THIS HARMFUL ACTION WHICH WOULD DEVASTATE THE COMMUNITY AND CAUSE ECONOMIC HARDSHIP TO MANY CITIZENS. WE SUPPORT THE LBVSPT ALTERNATIVE PLAN WHICH RETAINS LONG-TERM SITES, ADVOCATES AN ENVIRONMENTALLY SOUND POLICY FOR MANAGING THE LAKE AND PROVIDES THE PUBLIC WITH A REWARDING RECREATIONAL EXPERIENCE.
