Intellectual Property Rights Protection in SecondLife |
To: Linden LabsWe the undersigned residents of Second Life do hereby request an amendment to the Terms of Service to disallow creation and use of objects that are intended to circumvent object permission as established by the object's creator.
We assert this change is needed to combat the growing problem of creation theft. We further assert it is in the best interest of Linden Labs and the residents of Second Life to take the aggressive action of a Terms Of Service change to assure the intellectual property rights of residents to encourage the creative content creation the permission system was designed to protect.Sincerely,
