By signing this petition we are agreeing that NEWPORT SKATE PARK aka THE EDGE should not be destroyed before a park of similar or better size and standard has been built, we the well wishers and users of NEWPORT SKATE PARK have been kept in the dark until now about the proposed demolition of this well used facility and we find it highly unacceptable.

We are aware that Newport City Council has already agreed to further develop the NISV site. The Football Association of Wales will be developing sports facilities on the current Skate Park, this should not be undertaken until a fully functioning free skate park has been completed locally.
