Anti Glassware Ban

To:  Marlborough District Council’s Liquor Licensing Sub Committee

We deplore the decision by Marlborough District Council’s Liquor Licensing Sub Committee to ban the use of glassware at the 2008 Blues, Brews and Barbecues.
As in wine, the use of glassware is integral in the appreciation of fine beer. We therefore call on the Licensing authority, most strongly, to reconsider this draconian measure.
