The Management, Riders and fans of Wimbledon speedway are out raged at the recent decision the seems that we will once again lose our speedway team.

The Don's are being held to ransom to pay higher rent or lose the use of the ground. Your decision that speedway "no longer fits in with promotional plans at Wimbledon" is totally selfish and unjustified.

The people of Merton have already had to deal with losing a football team due to someone greed and now it seems we are going to lose our speedway team for the same reason.

Clubs like Wimbledon help to improve the on-going progression of British Speedway and, more importantly, help to bring the community together.

Please re-think your decision and help to increase the status of Speedway rather than tearing the heart out of it.
