SOS: More library books

The Students’ Union notes that the library received a one-off injection of an extra £150,000 from the College this academic year.
The Students’ Union also notes that the National Student Survey results for Goldsmiths in previous years, has consistently commented on the lack of library resources.

The extra funds enabled library to staff to break a pattern of disappointing students when they requested new books in the library. As a result, the Students’ Union is using its 'SOS: Support our Students' campaign to support the library in their bid for extra funds to be secured as a regular investment in future years to come, not just a ‘one-off’.

Library resources are critical, and consistently disapproving feedback, should be met with a consistent strive for improvement.
