Stop the PTC from harassing the US Government and Violating our 1st Amendment Rights

The Parents Televison Concil has gone to great lengths to get good quality adult tv shows off the air. Its time for someone to take a stand against thier policies that clearly violate the 1st ammendment rights of every American. The PTC should be limited to a ratings only group and not be allowed to harrass networks and our goverment to police the airways and movie theaters.

I am a full supporter of parents screening tv shows and movies for thier children, however it is their responsiblilty alone. Every cable company has parental controls on their boxes. There is no reason why any parent can not set up the box properly and block whatever shows they do not want thier children to see. Its quite simple and easy to do.

Thier is no reason for good adult tv programing to come under such harrasement from a group of people that obviously have nothing better to do with thier time. It is one thing to operate a site reviewing visual entertianment for parents, I am fine with that concept. However, when you demand that the US Goverment start policing the programing that is on televsion and what movies come out you are steping all over our 1st amendment rights and destroying what these writers, actors, directors, etc. have put thier hearts and minds into creating for the pleasure of the genral public.

I believe that the PTC has no right to continually harras networks, waste our goverments time during an ongoing war, and constantly badmouth every adult who happens to enjoy programming that they do not.

Please sign this petition if you believe that the PTC should be a ratings only orginazation and that they should not be allowed to continue with thier various forms of harrasement.
