This Petition is created with the hope that we reach Les Moonves and let him know that the fans of the Star Trek Franchise want another Television Series. It has been five years now since the cancellation of Star Trek Enterprise and since then we have gotten a new movie which did very well at the box office. With that fact alone it might have sparked some kind of thought inside you that maybe Star Trek can come back you just can't think of an idea to bring that back to the small screen. I present you with the one and only idea that will not only please the fans of this great and mighty franchise but also bring in the ones that saw the newest movie, Star Trek. I present the following as a small treatment. Enjoy!

Star Trek: Phoenix will take fans back to the roots of 'Star Trek' as created by Gene Roddenberry and will focus on the exploration, adventure, and first contact in the Alpha and Gamma Quadrants. The series is set in a time period of 42 years following the events in the motion picture "Star Trek: Nemesis".

The pilot episode, title "Cloak & Dagger", takes place in 2422, one year into the maiden voyage of the Phoenix. The episode beings after a major attack on the Phoenix and the crew attempts to rescue an away team on the remote planet, Katrassii Prime. Little do they know, the rescue team will need saving from the secrets this perilous world possesses.

People from all over the world have seen this Fan series 30 minute pilot movie and the words from the fans have been enough to get a campaign together to see this show, this idea become the next installment in the Star Trek franchise. You have the movies that are taking place in the Kirk, Spock and McCoy era, why not have a show dealing in the future of the Original timeline. You can come in virtually fresh or having just watch the newest movie and you won't have missed anything. This show will do what the newest film did and that's bring in NEW viewers which equals higher ratings.
